Obviously I absorbed a lot of science-fiction television and Chuck Jones cartoons as a kid – this apparently is the effect of all that. Beyond my love for these themes the work is also a self-portrait as I reconnect with the stuff that first inspired me to try illustration, art and design. This series doesn't feature much dialogue – I'm not a fan of being overly literal and direct – I want this to feel somewhat organic and elastic so viewers can perceive different things from their own perspectives and experiences. But overall the work reflects action, drama, conflict, sexiness, and heroic themes.
